And now it's December ( I obviously forgot to publish it too! )

Goodness gracious me, I can’t believe it is December. What a full and fun year it has been.! So much has happened at 28 gates this year and an even bigger year next year but that’s another story.

We have had a wonderful year of welcoming new guests and having ones back. We now have a fabulous hut at ‘Circus Lake ‘ for guests to enjoy. Have a meal, relax or a cover if its raining when your fishing! Its one of our favourite spots and is used regularly.

Our Blacksmithing workshops have continued to be popular and will be advertising regularly next year. Its such a unique and special experience for all ages above 10. If interested enquire and you can book your own one if you are staying , groups need to be at least upto 3 people.

We haven’t gained any more pets this year, we still have our dogs Peggy, Quest, Billy and Arthur and our favourite pig, Burt. Poppy the horse and her babies Tilly, Nibbles and Alfie and Cleo the rabbit and our chooks for the fabulous eggs. All love the attention from guests.

Farmlife has changed this year … very little rain, prices of sheep plummeted and of course interest rates on top made the whole scenario interesting. But …. we are positive and hopefully markets will change and everything will be improve and high spirited. This is farming and we have well and truly been through it before.

We hope you all have a really special Christmas and look forward to welcoming guests in 2024 … we have some very exciting news happening which will be revealed in January . From us all at 28 gates :)
